Component: Access to Inclusive Finance (Sanara Program)
HEVA Fund provides responsive loan and grant facilities tailored to the production, trade, working capital, project, and business development needs of creative entrepreneurs and organizations within Kenya’s cultural and creative industries.
Grant Facilities:
HEVA also supports or partners with community-based organizations (CBOs) in Kakamega, Kisumu, Mombasa, Nairobi, Nakuru, and Turkana to engage young women, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and refugees in the creative economy.
- Individual grants: Up to KES 100,000
- CBO grants: KES 2–6 million over three years
Impact:
Through this blended financing approach, HEVA is expanding financial inclusion within the creative sector, enabling underserved creatives and organizations to build viable enterprises, strengthen community-based structures, and scale their economic participation across Kenya.
